Annual Surplus Computer Sale – Bids WelcomeIADL No Background

As part of our regular technology upgrades, the Library holds an annual surplus sale of retired computer equipment. This year we are offering several used public computers, monitors, and accessories for sale through sealed bids.

Photos of the available items can be viewed below.

All equipment is used and sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.

How to Submit a Bid

  • Place your bid in a sealed envelope labeled “Computer Bid.”
  • Bids may be delivered in person or mailed to the Administrative Headquarters.
  • Bids must be received by April 3 at 4:00pm.
  • Email or phone bids cannot be accepted.

Bid Requirements

Each bid must include:

  • Item number
  • Item name
  • Bid amount
  • Bidder’s name and contact information

Please submit a separate bid for each item.

Award, Payment, and Pickup

  • Equipment will be awarded to the highest bidder.
  • Items cannot be reserved or sold prior to the bid deadline.
  • Successful bidders will be contacted after bids are opened and will receive payment and pickup instructions.
  • Buyers are responsible for transporting purchased items.

Notes:
  • Pictures are representative of the item for sale.
  • All systems have been wiped, with BIOS passwords removed and reset to factory settings.
  • BIOS reset jumper is no longer available on motherboard for 3090s and later--keep that in mind when setting a password otherwise you will need to contact Dell Support for assistance.
  • None of the systems include WiFi or Bluetooth modules.
  • Systems have been re-imaged with OEM Windows 10 or Windows 11 installation with all drivers and utilities; all systems support Windows 11.  Systems with Windows 10 can be upgraded.  All systems also support Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, PopOS and Fedora.
  • We include accessories as stated in listing.
  • All systems pulled from working environment.
