Robert J. Parks Library is located on the former Wurtsmith Airforce Base in Oscoda, Michigan.
Parks Library is a public programming library with free classes, events, presentations
and the like. Stop in and check out the variety of activities from story times to writers’
group. Whether you are six or 96, there is certainly something fun for you to do here.
Libraries are more than just books – we are the community hub. In a world where
everything evolves, Parks Library has embraced change. Upon entering our doors, you
may hear folks playing board games, you may stumble into the annual art exhibit, see
families gathered for craft time, or even see a local nonprofit group using our large
conference room. For those who wish to study or read in a quiet area, we still have
those. With thousands of books in our permanent collection and a hefty assortment of
newly published books and audiobooks (in the adult area as well as the children’s area),
you are sure to find your new favorite author! Stop in soon, we can’t wait to see you.
