Symbolism & Meaning
The stylized sunrise reflects the library’s location on the Sunrise Side of Michigan, evoking warmth, inspiration, and new beginnings.
The trees represent the natural beauty of Northern Michigan while subtly reinforcing themes of growth, knowledge, and community.

Modern Yet Classic Color Palette
The combination of the blue and green naturally represent the combination of Lake Huron and our many forests and nature preserves in our counties.
The dark green of the trees exudes stability, knowledge, and nature, aligning with the library’s mission.
Neutral and earthy tones provide a welcoming feel while ensuring accessibility and readability.
The warm sunrise tones add a dynamic contrast, giving the brand a sense of energy and warmth.

The logo is bold yet simple, ensuring versatility across different mediums (print, signage, web, and social media).

The clean typography enhances legibility, making it inviting to all age groups while maintaining a polished and mature aesthetic.
